Physical and mental therapy is one of yoga’s most important achievements. Yoga has succeeded as an alternative form of therapy in the treatment of common ailments such as asthma, migraine, digestive disorders, blood pressure, constipation, insomnia and stress related ailments.

Yoga’s calming effects are a great benefit for those who experience stress. Sometimes it is hard to calm the mind down and relax enough to fall asleep. Most of us have experience those nights. If you can’t sleep, try using calming poses to help yourself relax. Gentle moments and inversions are good choices. Remember to breathe slowly and fully. Soon you would probably fall asleep without knowing.

Classes Available

Beginners’ Course

Designed to take the mystery out of how to move the body with understanding and without pain.

Intermediate Course

Our most advanced classes for those with previous yoga training who are strong in standing poses and inversions. Designed for those who wish to challenge their postures.

Children’s Class

Children ages 10-14 are invited to learn and play the YogaKids way. The style and pace of the class addresses the natural interests, needs and rhythms of children. Activities include yoga poses, games, stories and relaxation techniques.

The full duration for each course is 1 hour. However, participants can sign up on a per class basis or the full 6 sessions.
